In the Surgery and Ophthalmology Department we offer different services of diagnostics and treatment of soft tissues and orthopedic problems, ophthalmologic examinations and treatment, as well as oncolo treatment, alone or in co-operation with other clinics and institutions in Slovenia and abroad. Every year, we perform approximately 450 procedures that necessitate general anaesthesia, for which there is a well-trained team of anaesthesiologists for dogs and cats. The Surgery and Ophthalmology Department includes the general surgery of soft tissues, orthopaedic surgery and ophthalmology.
1. Soft tissue surgery
Surgery of the head and neck area
- surgery of the ears, nose and throat

- TECA (total ear canal ablation) with lateral bulla osteotomy
- ventral bulla osteotomy and inflammatory polyps removal of the middle ear in the cat

Examinations and procedures can be scheduled by calling +38614779277 weekdays between 8.00 and 19.00, and Saturday between 8.00 and 13.00. Examinations are scheduled every weekday, specific surgical examinations between 8.00 and 9.00 and specific orthopaedic examinations Mondays from 8.00 to 12.00. Elective procedures in general anaesthesia are scheduled only in the mornings; for emergency cases, we are reachable 24 hours a day 030 716 190.
