After graduating Bežigrad grammar school, Eva Hočevar enrolled at the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Ljubljana in 2017. She graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in November of 2024.
During her studies, she gained valuable practical experience volunteering at diferent veterinary clinics near Ljubljana. In her final year of studies she completed a 3 month long Erasmus+ externship at the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Lisbon in Portugal, where she gained experience in the fields of internal medicine, small animal surgery and dermatology.
In November 2024, she started a one-year small animal rotating internship at the Small Animal Clinic of the Veterinary Faculty, University of Ljubljana.
