Meet our staff

Sara Suhadolc Scholten graduated from the Ledina secondary school in Ljubljana and then enrolled and finished her first year at the Veterinary Faculty in Zagreb, Croatia. In 1992, she transferred to the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Ljubljana, and finished her studies in 2001. A year later, she passed the national veterinary exam.

From 1997 to 1999, she worked as a student-technician at the Clinic for Surgery and Small Animals of the Veterinary Faculty in Ljubljana. From 1999 to the end of her studies, she worked as an assistant anaesthesiologist at the same clinic. In October 2001, she started her voluntary internship under the supervision of Prof. Bojan Zorko and successfully finished in September 2002.

As head of the Inpatient Care Unit, she is constantly in contact with dogs and cats, which had been her wish since primary school. She keeps refining her knowledge with visits to symposia and congresses; her special interest is cat behavioural problems.
