Živa Viktorija Turk wanted to work with animals at an early age. After high school graduation in 2007, she continued her studies at the Veterinary Faculty in Ljubljana, where in 2013 she got the title of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. During her studies, she gained her knowledge in various veterinary institutions at home and abroad. After completing her undergraduate studies, she was employed at the Veterinary Station Kočevje where she was responsible for the healthcare of dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles. She has been employed at the Internal Medicine Department of the Small Animal Clinic since August 2018.
She regualry attends various educational meetings in Slovenia and abroad. She participated in various radio and television shows as a guest veterinarian. She published a leaflet “First aid for dogs and cats” in collaboration with the magazines Kužek and Mucek.
