After completing high school in Kočevje, she enrolled at the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Ljubljana, where she graduated in August 2006 with the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. In the same year, she started working at the small animal clinic Lesdog in Kočevje, where she worked in the field of dog and cat medicine until 2012, when she joined the Mačja Hiša veterinary clinic. She worked at branches in Ljubljana and Koper, where she gained extensive experience in feline medicine.
In 2022, she worked at the Postojna Animal Hospital. In 2023, she joined as an external collaborator for the 24-hour on-call service of the Small Animal Clinic at the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Ljubljana.
She regularly participates in professional training in Slovenia and abroad (SZVMZ, OKEAN, ISFM, EERVC, SCIVAC).
