The Dermatology Department performs diagnostic procedures and treats the skin diseases of dogs and cats. These include microscopic diagnostics for parasites, skin cytology, microbiological tests, allergy tests, skin biopsy, haematology and endocrine tests. Included among the therapeutic procedures, outpatient and inpatient treatments are performed, including ASIT (Allergen Specific Immunotherapy). Dogs and cats with skin diseases are welcomed in the Dermatology Department three mornings per week. All the appointments are scheduled per hour, in advance. The waiting period usually lasts approximately 14 days, except for emergencies, which are taken on the first working day in the morning.
