Darja Pavlin graduated from Veterinary Faculty, the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2000. Since 2002, she has been employed at Clinic for Surgery and Small Animals at the Veterinary Faculty, at first as a teaching assistant and later as a junior researcher. She completed her postgraduate studies in 2010 with the thesis “Effects of electrically-assisted delivery of gene encoding interleukin-12 in the treatment of induced murine tumours and spontaneously occurring canine tumours”. Since then, she has been employed at the clinic as a specialist in the department for internal medicine, working predominantly in the field of endocrinology and oncology.
