Dear Customer
To better organize our workflow with the best possible care for your pet in mind, we have introduced a new feature for booking appointments. We are only receiving patients with booked appointments. To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, we encourage that only one person accompanies your cat or dog to the visit. We would also like to inform you, that examinations are performed without the presence of the owner. Exceptions are made if the animal is agressive or when you say goodbye to your beloved pet during euthanasia.
You do not need to book an appointment in advance if your animal is experiencing an emergency, but we recommend you to call +386 1 4779 277 or +386 30 716 190 before arrival. Upon arrival, please, follow the instructions posted at the entrance and any other information the staff will give you. Unannounced entry to the Small Animal Clinic is not permitted.
Clients entering the Small Animal Clinic must wear a protective (surgical or FFP2) mask.
Examination ordering
Clients may book (non-urgent) appointments by calling the Small Animal Clinic front desk during regular business hours at +386 1 4779 277. Our regular customers requiring prescriptions for medications or refill of medications for their animal should inform the attending veterinarian by email or by using our info@kmz.si email.
Please, include the following information in your email:
For clients
- Owner’s first and last name
- The name of the animal
- Patient’s record number
- Name of the medication
- Regime of taking the medication (dose and timing)
- Phone number
- Name of the veterinarian who prescribed the medication
Once we prepare your refill or prescription, we will call you to inform you about the pickup time at the front desk of the Small Animal Clinic. The same instructions apply for ordering dietary food as for ordering medications.
For veterinarians
Veterinarians may refer patients through our online patient referrals. We check our email inbox regularly during our regular business hours. Please, call us upon submitting the online form, if the patient is an emergency. For any other referred patient, we will inform you about the first avialable appointment within 2 working days (as indicated in the referral letter). Current waiting times for non-urgent appointments vary by our departments, but are generally available within 1 – 7 days of receiving the referral letter.
Thank you for your understanding and keep safe,
KMŽ Team.
